About ME

Hello, I’m Miren. I am an accredited Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapist, which means I draw from various therapeutic approaches to support you in a way that best suits your needs.

I have been practicing since 2020, working with clients on a wide range of topics, including trauma, relationship challenges, personal development, depression, self-esteem, and stress. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, providing a safe space for exploration and growth.

I offer therapy in both English and Spanish, creating a space where you can express yourself comfortably in the language that feels most natural to you.

I am a fully accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), with accreditation number M14706.

Passionate about ongoing learning, I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Integrative Psychotherapy to deepen my knowledge and enhance my practice.

Common Questions

Here are some of the most common questions clients have. If yours is not addressed here please feel free to contact me and I will get back to you shortly.

What is therapy like?

The first session is for both of us to understand if we are a good match and can work together. The aim is to create a space where we can explore the topics you would like to address. Therapy works in partnership, so it is important that we collaborate for the best results.

If you are new to therapy

We can connect via call or in person, and I will be happy to walk you through the process in more detail.

How often should I go?

This is a very personal decision and you can decide what is the best frequency. I can give my recommendation based on the content brought to the sessions. We can also try different frequencies to see feels right.

Confidentiality

Everything we discuss is private and confidential, with exceptions related to your safety or the safety of others, and the disclosure of current or past child abuse. We can further discuss the boundaries of confidentiality together.

If you are running late

The time and space will be reserved for you during the scheduled slot. I will wait for up to 15 minutes. If I have not been contacted within that time, the session will be automatically cancelled.

If I need to cancel

I will give you as much notice as possible, but the timeline might be different depending on the cancellation reason.

If you need to cancel

Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice are free of charge. If the notice is less than 24 hours, a 20 EUR administration fee will apply. For cancellations made within 2 hours of the appointment, the full session fee will be charged. You can cancel the appointment through the booking email or by notifying me via email.

Payment details will be covered during the initial assessment.

Are the sessions online or face to face?

I believe the most meaningful and effective therapeutic connections are made in person. Therefore, I offer therapy face to face.
